Re-instating "Send As" privilege Windows 2003 Server // GOOD ForEnterprise

You may recall that I had a wonderful time troubleshooting issues with the GOOD for Enterprise service, whereby user's GOOD profiles were falling into a paused state as the service was unable to successfully send emails from the user's Android & iOS apps. GOOD For Enterprise have now outlined a permanent fix for this issue. Using the following fix will re-instate the Send As permissions for the required user accounts that the GOOD app uses to remotely send emails from their handheld apps, therefore eliminating the need to go through the workaround which I had outlined in my previous post . The Permanent Fix In order to achieve a permanent fix for this issue we need to re-instate the Send As ability that the required user accounts had before a certain Windows update removed this right, this is done using the DSACLS utility. GOOD For Enterprise App // Account Paused - Exchange Not Accessible

Recently I spent a few hours troubleshooting an issue which a number of colleagues where experiencing with our GOOD for Enterprise managed service.  Our Exchange 2003 is running a Windows Server 2003 SP2 server with GOOD for Enterprise running off a Windows Server 2008 server. Fix Temporary Profile in Windows 7 Issue

Background From time to time you may notice that when logging into your Windows 7 machine, the system will throw you up a message stating that you are being logged in with a temporary profile.  Once logged in with this temporary profile you will be greeted by nothing apart from a nice clean desktop with only the Recycling Bin to keep you company. If you try and browse to your documents via the normal methods then you will find nothing. Don't fret!  Your profile and associated files, settings etc should be fine.  To check this is the case take a look within the following location on your machine: C:\Windows\Users\[username] Should you find yourself in this situation simply carry out the following steps and this should resolve your issues.
